Hello My doctor has recommended me a rhodiola ointment for my back pain. However, I have urticaria and the doctor has advised me that the ointment must not contain any "salycilate derivatives"! My question does this product contain any salycilate derivatives? Unfortunately, I have not seen a list of ingredients and would be happy if you could send me this. Hello SilvanGrütter, thank you for your question. Comfrey by definition contains very small traces of salicylic acid. In addition to other ingredients, it also contains small amounts of phenolcarboxylic acids, one of which is salicylic acid. Of course, the amount of extract and its concentration play a role. This product consists of 40% natural and characteristically smelling extract from the root of the comfrey plant.
