Valves from different approved manufacturers can be fitted into the pressure cylinders. Both have the same external thread 21-6 ACME and work in conventional standard sparklers such as BRITA SodaONE, SodaStream, Mysodapop, Soda Trend, Philipps, Soda Tronic, Wassermax. Both valve manufacturers are approved as standard in the exchange trade.
However, there are also special sparkling water devices that are not compatible with the conventional standard cylinder. These usually have a different connection thread to the standard 21-6 ACME on the valve. Or the devices have a special seal that only allows valves with a smooth face in the system, for example. This "incompatibility" with the standard cylinders is intentional on the part of the device manufacturer in order to bind customers to their own cylinder brand. These include systems from the manufacturers BRITAYource, Quooker, Grohe, Blanco, SodaStream Quick Connect, BSH, etc.
