Why is the aid in it known to cause allergies?
Unfortunately, I can no longer eat many specialty breads from the region. For some time now, acerola powder has been added to these breads. It gives me mouth ulcers, blisters, swelling and asthma.
Acerola cherries come from South America, India etc. and are known to trigger allergic reactions (known to cause latex allergies). Why is this now in a food for daily use? Please restore the recipe as before! Otherwise mandatory declaration: not suitable for allergy sufferers!

Since 2015, we have only been using natural ingredients in the production of our "Fresh and Handmade" products. Acerola is a natural ingredient that is often used in the bakery. We need it because the vitamin C contained in acerola makes our doughs more elastic and stronger. Acerola is generally not known to be a common allergen. However, we are aware that almost any substance can potentially cause allergic reactions, which is why all ingredients are accurately listed. We are sorry that you are reacting to the acerola cherry.
