Can the asparagus pot also be used for deep-frying?
Hello Himbomen, thank you for your inquiry. The asparagus pot and the accompanying sieve could theoretically be used for deep-frying without damaging the sieve. However, we do not recommend this for several reasons:
- The sieve could be difficult to clean after frying and could become discolored.
- Due to the small diameter of the pot, it would take longer for the oil to reach the desired temperature.
- If the pot and colander are not thoroughly cleaned after deep-frying, the taste could be transferred when the pot is later used as an asparagus pot.
It is therefore advisable to continue using the asparagus pot for its original purpose, such as cooking asparagus or spaghetti. A deep fryer or high-sided pan is much better for deep-frying. Hopefully we have been able to help you with our answer. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
