Will it hopefully stay that way, that Aproz won't go along with Brussels' cap nonsense? Because we don't have to, we only ever do everything out of anticipatory obedience.

Hello signorinetta, thank you very much for your contribution. As you have already correctly recognized, this is an EU requirement. This stipulates that the caps must remain attached to the bottles even when they are open. The Swiss authorities have not yet officially issued a corresponding regulation. However, our suppliers and partners have informed us that they will no longer produce non-compliant closures from the standard ranges of international manufacturers from the end of 2023. As we purchase our lids from them, we are forced to use these lids as well. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

How long should open mineral water last? I have experienced several times that water that has been open for two or three days starts to stink. When freshly opened, it is practically odorless.

Hello signorinetta, thank you for your inquiry. In order to make further clarifications and to be able to orientate ourselves on a production series, we would ask you to send us the best-before date and the batch number (starting with L) of one bottle. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Expiration date 05.2022 Where should the batch number be? I can only find B 197 18:17 under the date.

Hello signorinetta, thank you for your patience. We will be happy to get back to you with news. Thanks to your information, we were able to check samples from the same production series. We did not find any similar discrepancies. There were also no indications of any abnormalities during the production process in our production logs. However, we are aware of the issue of odor formation. The latter occurs when the chemical composition changes, which happens when the bottle is opened. Contact with oxygen converts part of the liquid into carbonic acid. As a result, the pH value of the water drops and a sour taste develops. This is not harmful, but the drinking experience suffers. Incidentally, this happens particularly quickly with plastic bottles because they are more permeable than glass, which accelerates the process. For this reason, we recommend that you consume the water within two days to avoid such discrepancies. We hope this information helps you. If you have any further questions, please contact us. We will be happy to help you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

They had sent me a voucher for CHF 10 at the time, but the redemption didn't work, which I reported. They said they were investigating. Now I've heard nothing more. It's nothing serious, but it would have been a nice gesture...
