Jammi! Super cheese! I always have it at home, nice and tangy, but pleasant.
What bothers me, however, is the new tear-open packaging! In my opinion, it's completely stupid. Open is fine. But closed? I have to wrap the leftovers in cling film because the "bag" is no longer usable. And if you cut it open, you have to choke the rest in somehow. I find the new packaging totally impractical and don't see the point. Sorry...

Thank you very much for your comment. We are delighted that you like our Appenzeller Surchoix so much.
The packaging is what is known as Multivac packaging. It can be opened quickly thanks to the opening aid. However, it is not actually resealable, just as the previous packaging was not. We recommend that you close the packaging with a rubber band so that the cheese does not dry out.
We ask for your understanding and are happy to accept this as a suggestion for improvement.

My husband and I really like this cheese (and most other Migros cheeses too). We only have one request:
Please make smaller packs of approx. 100 g for small households! (Applies to all packaged cheeses!) Not every store has cheese counters where you can buy smaller portions. Thank you very much!
