I was looking forward to the fresh fondue, as I normally buy it from the cheese dairy. I liked the taste, but unfortunately the consistency was rubbery and the fat floated to the top. As a chef, I know that a good fondue has a creamy, slightly runny consistency. The other Appenzeller fondue from convenience packs was more convincing. It's a shame that this product doesn't come up to my expectations, because I prefer to eat fresh fondue.
