«Tasty and refreshing, this sugar-free tonic works well neat or mixed, though small bottles, limited availability, and the price remain drawbacks.»

Hello, since the bottle caps have been attached to the bottle, you can hardly open it any more. I had to use brute force with the last bottle and cut my finger in the process. Why is it so difficult? Someone who doesn't have much strength in their hands can't open them at all! Please change that!!!!
Hello Ruuga, thank you for your feedback. As part of its circular economy package, the EU has also adopted a plastics strategy that regulates single-use plastics, among other things. In addition to the ban on single-use plastic items, such as plastic straws and plastic stirrers, drinks containers are also being targeted.
The new EU regulation stipulates that the caps must remain attached to the bottles even when they are open. In the EU, this requirement applies to all beverage containers on sale from July 1, 2024.
The primary aim is to prevent loose caps from ending up in the environment and to recycle them together with the bottles.
The Swiss authorities have not yet officially issued a corresponding regulation. However, our suppliers and partners have informed us that they will no longer produce non-compliant closures from the standard ranges of international manufacturers from the end of 2023. As we purchase our lids from them, we are forced to use these lids as well.
We regret that this is impractical and makes the bottles more difficult to open. We will of course keep an eye on this issue and make adjustments if necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
That's all very well and wouldn't be a problem! I've had to open every bottle with "brute force" for the last few weeks! You can't open them! Even men have failed at it. It makes me angry that you can't do it......
