Hello Mückenschwärmer, thank you for your inquiry. The Anti Insect Sensitive Spray was the test winner at K-Tipp in June 2024. This drove up sales figures - we sold out of the entire product in a very short time. We will not receive a replenishment until February 2025. Alternatively, we recommend the Anti Insect Tick Spray. This product also contains 20 % Icaridin - but without the addition of silk - and also helps to combat mosquitoes. We hope you find this information useful. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Due to good results in the tests, we sold an above-average number of these sprays. For this reason, we unfortunately no longer have any items in stock.
Unfortunately, the spray caps have a procurement lead time of seven months and therefore we do not expect a delivery from the manufacturer until next year. This product claims 8h action against ticks, so more protection than your product (yellow package) against ticks (4h) . What is the difference? Does this product protect longer but with less intensity than the other one? Thank you.

Hi rita0407, in the meantime we have received feedback from the supplier of Anti Insect Sensitive and we are happy to share it with you. The composition of the products significantly affects how quickly the active ingredient evaporates in the air or penetrates the skin and then disappears from the surface of the body. Migros' "Ticks" product is rich in ethanol, which promotes evaporation and absorption of the active ingredient into the skin. The "Sensitive" product does not contain ethanol or other solvents, but is a milky emulsion in which the active ingredient is enclosed in small droplets. Because of this, the "Sensitive" formula stays on the skin significantly longer. To obtain approval for biocides, EU regulations require the manufacturer to demonstrate the product's effectiveness according to a standardized procedure. Since there is no certain standard procedure, it was possible to test the "Sensitive" formula on human skin. As for the tick-resistant formula, however, it was tested using a rotating and heated cylinder. Therefore, the test results are not comparable because neither the evaporation rates of the active ingredient nor the chemical conditions on human skin are the same. Differences in the duration of effectiveness of tick repellents depend on a variety of factors. The indicated hours of protection may be important in the purchase decision. When products are used in the wild, however, the guideline values prove to be very vague. There is no value that can indicate the limit of effectiveness. After application, the effectiveness of a repellent decreases as time passes. It may happen, however, that the "Sensitive" formula keeps ticks away even a day after application. However, if the tick finds an opening, it is possible that it will bite while the repellent is still effective. Does this product give off a strong citronella odour when applied to the skin?
