I love the yucate salad, but: Why can you only buy this salad with Migros' own salad dressing? The dressing doesn't go with it at all, I have to throw it away, what a shame. I only use lemon oil and white balsamic vinegar as a dressing. You can still find the product in the same fridge compartment, in the salads without dressing instead of in the fridge compartment for the salads with dressing and cutlery.

The sauce is actually absolutely superfluous. You could give it away/sell it separately. Unfortunately, it also ends up in my bin :-(

What exactly is the idea behind the 'Check availability' function? I made a special trip to the Brügg center because there should still be 6 packs available. The app also showed me this on site. The shelf was empty. The M employee said that the function was not useful. After 3 such experiences, I think so too.

When I look in the app it always says. Stock 7 or similar and when I go to the store it says it's sold out. This has happened more than 4 times now. How can that be?

Hello tan_stu, the store has checked the stocks and they are correct. Sales of this product are not constant, sometimes 10 units are sold within a short period of time and on other days hardly any. The team leader will now keep an even closer eye on this product and increase the order volume if necessary. Hello Michi2000, thank you for your post. We only use raw materials and ingredients whose quality we are convinced of. We use canned corn for the Yucatan salad. The reason for this is that outside of the harvest season, corn is usually only available in cans. In addition to the corn, the can also contains water, sugar and table salt. Sugar and table salt improve the taste of the corn. However, the added sugar content is minimal and is 0.6 % of the total weight. Before we fill the corn into the Yucatan salad bowl, the water-sugar-salt liquid is poured off. This process step removes the majority of these three ingredients from the corn. However, a small residue of this liquid may remain on the corn. However, the residue of this 0.6 % added sugar is at a very low level. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Many thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I don't know the M-Data as I have already thrown away the plastic wrap. The lot number is L/08190842/17. I bought the salad on 20.08.2014 in Neumarkt St. Gallen. Maybe this will help anyway.

I found a piece of meat in this salad today. It was about 2 cm in size and looked like bacon. How did that get into the salad?

The vegetables for the Yucatan Bowl are cut, washed and manually filled into the bowls, which are then sealed. There are strict hygiene regulations and regulated production sequences that our employees on the line must adhere to. It is difficult for us to explain exactly what happened, as we do not currently process bacon and we have not seen the piece of meat. However, we have of course made our employees aware of this and asked them to be even more careful. We are aware that negative experiences can affect trust. However, it's a shame that it's not in the range at Migros Zurich HB, and sold out at Limmatplatz by 13.00... Couldn't this be changed?

It's generally a shame that HB doesn't have more different salads on offer. There is only the Greek salad (but 4 rows of it). However, many people go to HB in the morning before work to buy lunch, so it would be great if the range could be expanded there.

Will the branch at HB be adding other salads to its range? It's a real shame that so far only the Greek salad is on offer. The branch is visited by many people in the morning, who also buy lunch there. So you might expect the range at the main station to be larger. Basically, Migros has a lot of good salads on offer.

The salad is certainly very tasty, but today I dared to take a look at the back and was a bit scared!
Ingredients:
-corn (Hungary)
-Red beans (USA)
-Red peppers (Morocco)
-Ruccola (Italy)
I am aware that the salad is not in season, but a salad of this origin is a bit too much for me... :-/

Thank you for your comment regarding the origin of our raw products.
All mixed and mono salads from Anna's Best are produced in Switzerland. When selecting the raw materials, we use local products wherever possible.
The seasonality of these products is naturally limited and for most products is restricted to the spring/summer/autumn period. Exceptions to this are lamb's lettuce, sugar loaf, carrots and celery, which are available almost all year round from local harvests.
Some raw ingredients are almost exclusively available abroad, either due to availability (quantity) or for quality reasons. This is the case with red beans, for example, which are sourced almost exclusively from the USA.
However, we assure you that we always use the closest available raw material for ecological, ethical and economic reasons.
