Hello I am missing salty shortcrust pastry for quiches or cheesecakes. best regards

Hi Nahla, all our cake batters contain no sugar but salt and therefore meet your requirement for sugar-free, salty shortcrust pastry. The correct technical term for shortcrust pastry is cake dough. Shortcrust pastry is more of a colloquial term. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why does the dough contain barn eggs? Migros advertised in 2018 that it would only sell free-range or organic/Demeter eggs by 2020. Why aren't they also switching to free-range eggs for their baked goods?

Hello jasii_2, thank you for your question. Migros has made this promise for fresh eggs. In view of the current shortage of eggs in Switzerland and Europe, it is unfortunately not currently possible to produce all products from free-range eggs. Even covering our demand for barn eggs is very costly. However, we are keeping this issue up to date. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, are the Cat delight no longer supplied or even manufactured? They are no longer available in stores and I have been given various answers by staff. Our cat would miss them.... Thank you for your reply

Hello Twinpalms, we are removing all Selina products from our range because there is no longer sufficient demand. However, we will be offering the Cat Delight snacks from this week with the identical recipe under the M-Budget line. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

We also miss the shortcrust pastry block. It would be nice if it came back into the range.

The shortcrust pastry bloc is unfortunately no longer available in Migros, even during the berry season - what a shame the rolled out one is just not that good!!! It would be great to bring it back into the range seasonally :) Greetings

Hello Rotondo1957, thank you for your message. We're sorry that you miss the shortcrust pastry in the block, and that you don't like the rolled out pastry in the same way. However, these two cannot be compared - they differ in several ways. The relevant specialist department is aware of your request and will keep an eye on it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

The shortcrust pastry in the block was great. It's a shame that it has been removed from the range. Suggestion to Migros: reinstate it centrally in the range and make it available to order via LeShop (there would certainly be sufficient demand throughout Switzerland).

Hello OttoEnserio, thank you for your post. We are sorry that we can no longer offer you the dough in the block. Unfortunately, demand for this product was very low. For this reason, we have decided to stop selling the shortcrust pastry. LeShop determines its range independently, we have no influence on this. Please make your suggestion here: kunden@LeShop.ch. Maybe you can still make friends with the rolled out shortcrust pastry. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Availability Shortcrust pastry in a block

Is there any chance that the "shortcrust pastry block" for rolling out yourself will be on sale again? It's much tastier than the already rolled out one...

Hello Churfirsten, thank you for your inquiry about shortcrust pastry in a block. As it was not very popular, there are currently no plans to reintroduce it. We're sorry that you don't like the rolled-out version as much. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

We also really miss the shortcrust pastry block. The rolled-out dough bears no resemblance to the block - it tastes really rubbery! - Incidentally, I also know various people in my circle who are anything but happy about this adjustment to the range. Would it help if all these people got in touch so that a reintroduction could be considered?

Hello AniKoch, thank you for your comment. We no longer offer the shortcrust pastry block as fewer and fewer customers were buying it. It's a shame that you and other fans of the block don't like the rolled-out version. Tastes differ and we sell the dough very well. This leads us to conclude that many people like it as it is. There are currently no plans to change it. We can't promise you that the dough will return to the range if all your friends contact us with the same opinion. However, there is a chance, as a few products have actually made it back onto our shelves. One example of this is the spicy mustard in the M-Classic tube. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Apparently, it's because demand is too low that shortcrust pastry is no longer available in blocks. This is not at all in line with what we experience in our environment and on the refrigerated shelves. Everyone misses the block. The rolled-out one is not an alternative, we don't buy it.

Thanks for your comment vaueff. Do you miss this product? M-Classic Sweet Shortcrust Pastry, 115071000000. Can you please tell us where you bought it? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

We used to buy it in Oberwil, but also here and there at other locations. The rhubarb and apricot cake just isn't the same anymore...

Hello vaueff, thank you for your feedback. The specialist department has informed us that we are not currently planning to reintroduce the service. We have of course passed on your feedback. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

That is a great pity. In any case, we won't be buying the rolled-out pastry. It doesn't deserve the name shortcrust pastry (more like cake dough with more sugar). Thank you for passing on the request.
