I bought these bouquet salads today and got 1 packet with a snail and the 2nd with a bug or weevil! Yuck
Hello Poufpouf, oh no, what an unpleasant and disappointing surprise! Thank you for the photos and for bringing this problem to our attention.
We make every effort to offer our customers products that are as natural as possible. This means that we greatly reduce the use of insecticides, pesticides and other products in the production of our salads. We inspect our raw materials directly on receipt of goods, according to strict quality standards, and immediately remove any visible foreign matter. Unfortunately, we can't always prevent large or heavy insects, such as snails or beetles, from getting through our control systems and into the packaging.
We have already informed all the teams concerned and have stepped up our controls. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We will also contact you privately. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team

Why is the lettuce cut so small now? It always had such nice big leaves before...
Hello goaty, thank you for your question. Can you please let us know the best-before date and the lot number of your packaging for further investigation? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much for the answer! Unfortunately I no longer have the packaging, but I don't understand what the best-before date has to do with it?
Hello goaty, without further information about the product, we are unfortunately unable to provide more detailed clarification. We ask for your understanding in this regard.
In production, the salads are first prepared by our production staff. They remove the stalks and damaged leaves. The conveyor belt then transports the produce to the cutting and washing process. The lettuce is then spun and machine-packed together with the other ingredients. It is possible that the cut size was forgotten to be changed when the variety was changed. This would explain your observation.
In general, we are noticing the effects of the hot weather. The lettuce leaves are generally somewhat smaller than usual. We are keeping an eye on this issue. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I have now bought another pack. Lot no. 08290453/17 But this problem has been the case with all packs for a few months now. Couldn't you adjust the cut size back to the nice big pieces? 😊🙏
Hello goaty, thank you very much for your reply. Our investigation revealed that there were no changes to the type and size of cut. We therefore really assume that it is the effects of the hot weather. This is because the leaves are smaller than usual. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
So compared to 1 year ago, the cut size has definitely been reduced. Can you please check this again?
