It tastes really good. A short while ago it cost 6.95 and now it's 7.50. But they come out with the advertising drum and announce that the prices of 450 products are being reduced. What do you do? They simply increase the prices of other products. As if the consumer shouldn't notice. Sorry, but what does Migros think of its customers? This kind of behavior makes it all the more tempting to go to cheaper competitors.
If you can't see the total on the till receipt or don't notice in your wallet that there's more left over, this advertising is a waste of time and counterproductive.
Best regards, Guido
Believe me, I buy from almost all retailers in Switzerland as I do in Germany/France. There are products everywhere that have become more expensive and others that have become cheaper and are advertised as such. So all retailers are the same.
That's true, as you say. But Migros shouldn't pretend to be generous. Migros is a cooperative, so you'd think it wouldn't have to make such big profits. In any case, the staff and the consumer don't get much out of it.
Hello Guido-1, thank you for your message. We understand your displeasure, price increases are rarely popular. Anna's Best India Tandoori Chicken had one a few weeks ago. Raw material prices have risen sharply worldwide for a good year now. There are various reasons for this: Rising prices in the procurement market for raw materials, packaging materials and manufacturing costs are currently a major challenge. Electricity and gas prices in particular have risen drastically at times, and these increased energy costs make transportation and the manufacture of almost all products more expensive, sometimes with a time lag. We are forced to pass on some of these additional costs to our customers. At the same time, however, we have also been able to make savings across the entire value chain. These savings cushion the price increases or we can pass them on to our customers in the form of lower prices for individual items/product ranges, which is why we have been able to make various price reductions in recent months, as you mentioned. best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline. Thank you for your reply. Everyone is justifying the price increases as you just answered. But it is also a fact that the Swiss franc is extremely strong against the major currencies. Then there is the abolition of industrial tariffs. Entry into force at the beginning of the year. All of this should lead to much more widespread price reductions. With the arguments you have described, we are being cheerfully ripped off in the Swiss manner. Migros is not the only one acting in this way. But as a cooperative, you shouldn't have to make such high profits. Best regards, Guido
Better this way than where the richest German became a discounter. I hardly think that the Migros bosses are among the richest Swiss. Coop and Migros are also limited by their size. Lidl and Aldi are represented worldwide and also have great purchasing power

When I read all the ingredients and allergens in this dish, it just turns me off! Far too many calories, chicken products and so on. It's not even a little bit healthy. That's why I always read the ingredients and allergens! It helps me a lot with my choice! But I don't want to talk everything down
