Are these gnocchi supposed to taste bitter? The best-by date isn't for another month, and they look fine. I cooked them in hot salted water.
Hello jackjones, thank you very much for letting us know. Please let us know the best-by date and the lot number. We’d be happy to investigate the cause of the bitter taste. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

Hello jackjones, thank you for your additional information. We are very sorry that you did not like the product, and we appreciate your feedback. We would like to respond as follows:
To conduct sensory evaluations of our products, we regularly hold internal tastings. During the last tasting of the Gnocchi Caprese, we did not detect any deviations in taste. No changes have been made to the recipe or the production process either. It is possible that the bitter taste is due to natural variations in the dried tomato ingredient. Since we have not received any comparable reports, we assume this is an unfortunate isolated incident.
We are very sorry that we cannot provide you with a more detailed explanation. We will intensify the sensory checks on this product for the new batches in the coming weeks. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team
Thanks for checking that out. I'll be treating myself to some new batches, too :-)

Could it be that the preparation is described incorrectly? Because I thought the gnocchi were great! I prepared them the way you do with the same gnocchi from Italy (Giovanni Rana) There is only one correct way to prepare them ;): Heat a frying pan with a knob of butter, toss the gnocchi in it for about 2 minutes and then (the most important thing) add half to a whole glass of water, simmer and stir until they become soft and the water evaporates (about 3-5 minutes) ..thank me later:D
Hello Glumanda, thank you for the message. The preparation recommendation on the packaging is correct. However, there are certainly several ways to prepare gnocchi. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good day! My son has celiac disease! We are always on the lookout for gluten-free foods! By chance, when reading the list of ingredients of the gnocchi caprese, we noticed that they are gluten-free according to the list of ingredients! Can I assume that they do not contain any traces of gluten? Thanks for the answer!
Good morning @Cobaeclo If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, naming the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Traces due to possible carry-over in the production process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Spices are gluten-free by definition. Seasoning mixes may contain gluten, but this would then have to be declared (e.g. seasoning mix [with wheat starch]) Best regards, Frederica
Thank you!

Guest
How many gnocchi would you need for a group of 17-18 people who are probably hungry?
Dear guest
Thank you for your request.
A guide value of 200g (per portion) is used per person. This means that you will need about 9 packs of 400g for 18 people.
We hope this helps you and wish you lots of enjoyment. Your M-Infoline Team
