This spinach tart tastes really good. Unfortunately, Migros has removed the recent Appenzeller Käsewähe from its range, which I very much regret. This Appenzeller cheese waffle was really much better than the normal, rather dull cheese waffle. Unfortunately, the Quiche Lorraine waffle is also no longer available, although in my opinion it was always quickly gone. It never ceases to amaze me how Migros simply no longer offers tried and tested items. Apparently customer wishes don't play a major role.
The quiche is available in my Migros...I just saw it last week... (GM Aare) Migros has what feels like 20 varieties of cheese. But do you also realize that if certain varieties are usually reduced and hardly in demand, they will eventually be discontinued? This has nothing to do with customer wishes, but with profitability and food waste...
Hello sarasota, thank you for your question. We only have the Chäswähe from Anna's Best (1137.249) in our range, which is available in all regions. The item with Appenzeller seems to be a regional offer. Can you therefore let us know in which store you are missing the product? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Dear M-Infoline Team We used to buy this Appenzeller Käsewähe in the Migros store in Meilen, but this has not been possible for a long time. It was a little more recent and also more firmly baked than the Anna's Best Käsewähe. Unfortunately, the Quiche-Lorraine cheesewiche is also no longer available. We can't say whether it has been removed from the range or whether the person in charge at the Migros store in Meilen doesn't have enough of it. Yours sincerely, Sarasota
Hello guest, thank you for your message via Migipedia and your interest in our products. We understand that it is annoying when beloved items are no longer included in the range, and Migros is constantly optimizing its range. Our aim is to better adapt our product ranges to the needs of our customers and to provide the right products for each store. On the one hand, this means that some items have to be removed from the range or are only available in larger stores. On the other hand, gaps in the range are also closed in order to better meet customer demand in each Migros outlet. Depending on the sales of an item, it is allocated to a product range level. For the various product ranges, the sales outlets receive a product range level corresponding to the sales area, according to which the range is composed. No matter how hard we try, we will probably never be able to fully satisfy all the diverse wishes of our customers. We regret that we are unable to provide you with better information and hope that you will continue to appreciate our range. We look forward to your next visit to Migros and wish you a pleasant day. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
Although this doesn't fit the topic... you guys use your first and last names in your posts. Since I am in favor of an open culture, I would prefer a "you" culture on Migipedia.

Hi everyone! I have seen that the comment has already been made once that there are too few savory wähen. There is only the spinach wähen, which is "healthy". But there are so many vegetables that could be used? I think that there would certainly be many people who would buy an alternative to spinach wähen.
Define "healthy". I wouldn't describe any wähe as healthy. There are or were also cheese, cheese and onions, quiche lorraine, vegetables and Gruyère as salty variants. Gruyère and vegetables at least are not available everywhere, and I don't think vegetables are available at all any more.
Hello diorelle, thank you for your post. We have forwarded it as a suggestion to our laundry specialists so that your suggestion can be checked. But don't be disappointed if we can't comply with your request, or can't do so immediately. Nevertheless, we are always happy to receive good ideas from our customers. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

The price labeling (black on dark green to black) on this product is not even suboptimal, but IMO even violates the regulation for the announcement of prices, as it is barely legible.
Many cookies, for example, are similarly badly labeled: white on transparent packaging with light-colored contents!
There is obviously a system behind it all. I have long suspected that Migros wants to get customers out of the habit of looking at prices. (The only alternative explanation I can think of is boundless ignorance in the design department).
Hello guest
Thank you for your comment. We apologize for only getting back to you now.
We switched from product price labeling to shelf price labeling some time ago. The prices (including 100g prices) are now displayed in black and white. We want to offer our customers as much transparency as possible, not least when it comes to prices.
However, for baked goods that are often replenished several times a day, we have switched back to the labeling on the product itself. This allows us to avoid confusion. With these price labels, we adhere to the ordinance on the announcement of prices. It states that prices must be easily visible and legible. We have recognized that this is not the best solution for the spinach tart. We will therefore ensure that the prices are easier to read in the next packaging change, which is expected to take place this year. Thank you for your comment!
Could you also tell us about the other products where the price is not so easy to read? Then we can also check these and adjust them if necessary.
We wish you a nice weekend!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

The range of vegetable pies at Migros is limited to spinach leaves; they have no ideas for other varieties.
How about carrots, kohlrabi, etc. before simply throwing the produce away?
thrown away? - Unfortunately, I've seen Migros throw away items many times rather than reusing them. This would get a failing grade!
Hello peguch
Thank you very much for your message regarding our range of vegetable rolls.
We're already in the development phase for new vegetable varieties for the stores. We are happy to take on board your suggestion to try carrots or kohlrabi and will look into this possibility. So far, you can choose from various savory quiches as well as the assortment of cheeses from the gastronomy department.
Migros has been dealing with the issue of food waste for some time now. We would like to take a closer look at this issue:
Various studies and organizations claim that around five percent of food at retailers ends up as waste. In 2012, a film entitled 'Taste the waste' was shown in Swiss cinemas and on television, dramatically highlighting the whole issue of food waste. In addition, more and more TV stations are
TV stations are addressing the issue of food waste, currently again on various German TV stations.
Migros (SM/VM and Gastro) has compiled relevant figures for Migros (2012). The figures clearly show that Migros' efforts to avoid wasting food are worthwhile: 98.6 percent of the food that Migros offers in its stores and restaurants is also sold or given away as food: at regular or reduced prices to customers and employees or free of charge to charitable organizations such as "Tischlein deck dich" or "Schweizer Tafeln".
Only 1.4 percent of the food offered by Migros (Migros stores and restaurants) is not used as food: 1.2% of this is used to produce animal feed (0.3%), biogas (0.8%) and compost (0.1%).
Only 0.2% ends up as waste in the waste incineration plant (WIP).
We hope you trust our information and will remain a loyal customer.
See you soon in your Migros!
Best regards
