How does a pineapple from Costa Rica get 5 stars for CO2 emissions?
Because they come by ship and not by plane.
Hello Marta1982, thank you for your question. Transportation plays a subordinate role in carbon footprints, unless the product is flown. The decisive factors are agricultural production and, in the case of animal products, husbandry and feeding, as well as fertilization and the use of pesticides. These production methods may be the same abroad as in Switzerland, so the carbon footprint does not change much. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

As I still had a voucher for pineapple, I wanted to give them another chance today (08.30) and buy two of them. But once again the replenishment in 9500 Wil is very poor, especially at this time of day. There were just two left in the box. They were dark brown, rotten and there was a swarm of fruit flies around them. Staff - none for miles around........................ Migros really forces you to go to the other shops..........
I bought pineapple on Saturday. When I cut it, I was amazed. Instead of yellow, almost the whole surface was brown, that was the last pineapple I bought from Migros, yikes
Since the Budget is no longer available, the quality is catastrophic. I now only buy them from Aldi
Hello Bayri, thank you for your request. We're sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the pineapple. Could you let us know which store you bought it from? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
The same in 9500 Wil
Just like mine! A mess!
My rotten pineapple from Migros Wettingen
Hello Why_not, thank you for the message. Certain deviations sometimes only become apparent after some time and are not visually recognizable. Our aim is to prevent this, which is why we are constantly working on this and removing the affected items from the shelves. As a general rule, products of unsatisfactory quality may be returned to the store. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I bought a pineapple from Costa Rica today, 28. 12. 2021 at Gäupark Egerkingen. With M-Check, responsible cultivation and, according to you, organic and sustainable anyway, etc. I have to say, like many of the writers here, that the quality is terrible. The fruit stinks of cellar and fertilizer, like old military shoes. Simply inedible! I will return the fruit tomorrow and see what your staff have to say. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law has already had the same experience. I also don't understand how a fruit from Costa Rica can be sold here at 1.95 Fr when you talk about fair trade. Are you simply taking the piss with such miserable quality? I think your customers already realize that!
Hello Bonsai1950, thank you very much for the message. Certain deviations sometimes only become apparent after some time and are not visually recognizable. Our aim is to prevent this, which is why we are constantly working on this and removing the affected items from the shelves. It is also possible that the fruit was slightly damaged and was able to absorb external flavors, for example from the carton or the transport container. We pay the same price all year round, the promotional discounts are at our expense. Furthermore, the required social standards are regularly checked by independent certification bodies. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are there no more M-Budget pineapples? Selection or Normal pineapples are often already rotten (inside) when you buy them. Only the M-Budget pineapples are a little green and sometimes not extra sweet, but at least they are still edible. And now they are no longer available. What a pity!
I agree with you and have already written about it here. The M-Budget ones were the best. The current normal pineapples are of very poor quality. I don't buy any more. I go to Aldi or Lidl, they're the best for me! It's a shame Migros that we can only rarely shop at your store............all the good stuff is gone......
Hi TTravel, thanks for the question. We are sorry that you miss the pineapple. We made this decision based on a review of customer needs. However, we will continue to offer Fresca, Organic and Sélection pineapple. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Can't Migros read? These pineapples are horrible and dark brown. Nobody buys pineapples in Migros like this anymore, not me either!!!
I just bought a so-called "Fresca" today and received miserable quality. Stinks of cellar and fertilizer! I no longer buy pineapples at Migros!
since the problem persists, I have found a solution for myself: for a few weeks now we have had an Aldi "in the village": there are so-called "premium pineapples". So far, it's been perfect and always available.

Where are the M-Budget pineapples??? Not available in 9500 Wil for a week. Please give them back to us! They are the best! What's going on!
Hello indios, thank you for your question. We no longer offer this pineapple - we are sorry to disappoint you with this decision. The responsible department has been informed of your message and is keeping an eye on the situation. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
This is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This pineapple was amazing and the demand was very high! Only these were bought by customers because the other pineapples were simply inedible and unpalatable (dark brown, partly rotten............). Please give us back these M-Budget pineapples! What's wrong with Migros???????????? I can't believe how Migros is driving away its long-standing, loyal customers in big steps......! Coop is expanding the Prix Garantie line and you at Migros are taking everything away from us...... I'm so disappointed and angry.
Have these been taken away from us throughout Switzerland?
Hello indios. Yes, it is no longer available anywhere in Switzerland. We examine such decisions carefully, we assure you. There are no plans to reintroduce it at the moment. But this pineapple, our customers' favorite product, is now permanently available at a lower price: https://produkte.migros.ch/ananas. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I haven't seen a reduction in Wil yet. But there's Aldi...it's cheaper and better at 2.29.

In the discussion about plastic waste, I don't understand why a plastic sticker with the words "GRILL MI" is attached. A small flyer on the sales stand is more ecological and economical.
Hello Henry, thank you for your message. This sticker is only applied to the products temporarily. We have decided to do this for the following reasons: - The ecological footprint of a sticker is generally smaller than a flyer or poster, for example - There is already a lot of information on the stands in general, which can sometimes be confusing Best regards, your M-Infoline team
