I've always had the ones in the tray and I loved them, but the ones in the bag are really worthless. First of all, they're impractical, and what's even worse and effectively unacceptable is that they burn in one place and are inedible. I followed the instructions on the packaging exactly for baking in the oven. To be on the safe side, I even set the oven 10 degrees lower than it said. I wondered why it didn't say anything about adding cream after 3/4 of the time, but I thought it didn't say anything about it, so it must be right, and when I checked 6 minutes before they were done, after the shortest time specified, I saw that they were burnt. I don't think anyone wants that. I certainly don't.
Could it be that they forgot to include that in the instructions, or why is there such a difference?
With the ones in the tray, it has never happened to me that they came out of the oven burnt, not once in all these years, and then you buy these because the ones in the tray are no longer available, and then something like this happens. That's not okay, is it?
I would have understood if I had overlooked something, but when they came out of the oven burnt, I thought, OK, I'll read the instructions again, and I couldn't find anything I had done wrong, so it must be the product :-( I am extremely disappointed that something so good has been ruined like this. I'll just have to buy them somewhere else or make them myself, but these are no good. Unless this is reversed and improved to how it was before, I will certainly never buy them again. I don't want to eat burnt food; it's disgusting and unhealthy too.

Hello Ghostvampira, Thank you very much for your detailed message and the photo. We are sorry that the preparation of the Älplermagronen resulted in such a bitter disappointment. We apologize for the inconvenience. The switch to the new packaging took place some time ago and was necessary because the previous supplier ceased production. We will gladly take your comments on the preparation instructions into account and review them again. We will adjust the information if necessary. We hope that our efforts are to your satisfaction and that you will give us another chance to regain your trust. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline Team
Thank you for your quick reply.
At first, I thought it was my fault, that I might have overlooked something, because it seemed strange to me not to add any cream, but I thought, OK, they know what they're doing. I then read it another seven times and couldn't find anything that said you should add water, milk, or cream. Some of these ingredients would certainly have been needed to prevent it from burning, but if you don't know that, you just rely on the preparation instructions, and as I found out, they are incorrect. Well, it couldn't be any other way, otherwise it wouldn't have burned. When a product is new, I always use a little less heat to be on the safe side, as every oven is different, and normally it should have been in the oven for at least 40 minutes according to the instructions. After 33 minutes, I checked because it started to smell strange in the kitchen and saw that it was burning, so I took it out immediately. If I had left it in the oven for the full 40 minutes as specified, I would have had to throw away the baking pan, which makes it even less sensible to leave it in the oven for 45 minutes because then it might have started to burn, and nobody wants that, right? I've known this product for several years, and with the old version, you had to add 0.5 dl of cream after 3/4 of the time, but that's not the case with the new version. I can't say what went wrong, but I don't like it because I loved this product when it was in the tray, and now I have to buy one somewhere else and try it, or make my own, but unfortunately, I won't be buying this one anymore.

I have a question about this. I've always known the product and have always been satisfied. I was surprised today when I got it delivered that it now suddenly comes in a plastic bag. I would have liked to know what the logic of this is, because Migros keeps banging it in your face that they want to save plastic and waste. I would have liked to know the truth because apparently you are constantly being lied to, like the other day with the plastic lid on the crème fraîche that they took it away to save plastic and waste.
Let me put it this way. Cardboard can be recycled, so it's not really waste, but there's more waste with this product if you put it in a plastic bag. I don't really understand the point of this, let alone the logic. If you want to save waste, cardboard packaging would have been better than plastic. With creme fraiche, where the lid makes sense, you take it away.
I was just wondering what this nonsense was all about.
I'm just waiting for Migros to deliver the ice creams in bags because they have to save on cardboard now. or you get it delivered or buy it without packaging ;-)
I don't expect this to be answered truthfully because too often there was a contradiction in terms when I asked questions, but thanks in advance anyway.
Hello ghostvampira, thank you for your question. We actually had to adapt the packaging as there was a change in the production process. We tried to keep the cardboard tray, but unfortunately this was not possible. If you collect plastic, you can add the packaging there to have it recycled . Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline Team
Well, but the point of Migros is to save plastic and not to produce more. Does that mean that Migros no longer attaches any importance to it? If so, then I would like to have the support lid from the crème fraîche back too.
If I were to collect everything, my apartment would end up being a garbage dump and that really doesn't make sense for me, because I would have to take everything down to the city by bus and I don't think anyone would do that unless they had a car. At least paper, cardboard and garbage is collected, but not plastic. I don't want to live in a garbage dump because I would have to accumulate everything in my apartment and that's not possible. That's why I throw it in the bin.
Kind regards ghostvampira
Hello ghostvampira, Migros' commitment to reducing plastic is embedded in a holistic approach that focuses on avoidance, reuse and recycling. Migros is constantly researching how to optimize packaging and eliminate plastic wherever it makes ecological sense. However, we cannot always disregard this packaging material or eliminate packaging altogether. It often makes an important contribution to ensuring the quality and hygiene of food and avoiding food waste. And in this case, it is the only new solution in terms of production technology. Hello M-Infoline Team
If it were the case that you would sensibly do without plastic where the plastic is unnecessary to avoid food waste, then I wonder why you would remove the lid from the Creme Fraiche where it makes sense that it is on there because it shows that Migros often acts wrongly because it is precisely the omission of this support lid that Migros produces even more food waste during transport. This lid has prevented you from constantly having to throw away creme fraiche and by leaving it off you have to throw away more and more food.
For every 10 cups I order online from migros, on average only 2 of them arrive whole, the others I have to throw away and get the money back. Yes, I know there are silicone lids but that would only make sense if the aluminum lids would break in my fridge but that's not the case, it's during transport and that's why Migros removes plastic too often for my taste where it makes sense to leave it.
Sorry, but the story doesn't really work for me. I could go on and on about what was removed where it was useful, but I'll save myself the trouble as it wouldn't help anyway.
Kind regards ghostvampira
Hello ghostvampira, thank you for your feedback. We have introduced reusable lids to our range instead of silicone lids. If you don't like the silicone product, we have this one, for example: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/704539500000. This means that customers who keep products such as crème fraîche open for longer can still benefit from sustainable packaging. We understand that our customers' needs are different. That's why we are happy to take your feedback on board and inform our specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline Team
Thanks for these lids but that is exactly what I meant they would only help if they were supplied with the product. As I said, the aluminum lid doesn't break in my fridge but during transport to my home.
Especially when Migros has to deliver the items to me. And that's exactly the problem. When the lids were still on, it never happened that I had to throw away the crème fraîche. Because of all the plastic things that were taken away, it's a massive deterioration, just like when this lid was missing during transportation from Migros Online.
If the lids were to break in on me then the silicone lids would make sense but in my case they don't help. You would have to put them on the cups when packing the goods and as a customer that's not possible logically, is it?
I make sure that I throw away as little as possible because of the food waste, but that's of little use if I keep getting defective goods like several tubs of crème fraîche and then you produce unnecessary food waste.
I hope you understand my problem. It's not that I don't get the money back, but I still don't benefit if I don't have the goods and have a fuller bin bag at home because I can't use or eat them ;-)
Kind regards ghostvampira
