Hello, I would like to know how concentrated the juice is, i.e. how many grams of ginger the drink contains in total? Pregnant women, for example, should not consume more than one gram of ginger a day, and when drinking the ginger juice it is difficult to estimate/dose the right amount :) Thank you in advance :D

Hello Chaussette123456, we have gladly forwarded your request to Alnatura. Alnatura's response is as follows: Approximately 245 g of fresh ginger is required for a 200 ml bottle of Alnavit ginger juice. However, the amount of ginger per bottle can vary depending on the raw material. We are unable to provide any information regarding the suitability of consumption during pregnancy and would ask you to consult your doctor. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

Hello, the juice is basically very good. Where do you get the ginger from? Unfortunately, this is not written on the product. Thank you for the information.

Hello RamonSerrano, thank you for your question. We are pleased that you like the juice. We would also like to let you know that ginger mainly comes from Peru. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

What about the vitamin content of this juice? Pasteurization probably destroys a large proportion of them.

Pasteurization does not destroy the vitamins and nutrients (if at all only slightly), e.g. UHT milk is heated even higher, and still has its vitamins, e.g. orange juice in tetra-packs is always pasteurized, the vitamin C content is the same as in freshly squeezed juice.

Hello KatyBo, thank you for your inquiry about Alnavit ginger juice. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not have any analysis reports on the vitamin C it contains. We are therefore unable to tell you the exact amount. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I just bought this juice thinking I could drink it straight away! What a disappointment! I've just seen that it needs to be diluted.....but in what? Can you advise me? Thank you

Hi @eureka Here's a tip from Alnavit: "Pour 1 teaspoon of ginger juice, 1 slice of lime and some fresh mint into a glass (0.3 l) of fresh apple juice mixed with sparkling water. Ginger juice is also ideal for spicing up dishes or enjoyed as an herbal tea." https://alnavit.de/fr/produits/produkt/detail/jus-de-gingembre-bio/ Greetings and have a nice day Frederica.

However, the German manufacturer Alnavit states in the composition of the same product: ginger juice, lemon juice from lemon juice concentrate. With 97% ginger content. Is there really added mineral water in the same product in Switzerland? Very strange. It's like Ovomaltine, where sugar is added for the foreign market... And here it's obviously adulterated for the Swiss market.

Thank you for your comment humaneco. There is no difference between German and Swiss products. The Alnavit ginger juice was only recently revised, with the natural mineral water being completely replaced by lemon juice. The juice now contains 97% ginger (previously 95%). We will update our database. Thank you for your comment and best regards, your M-Infoline team

Natural mineral water is declared as an ingredient. How much water does this juice contain and how high is the proportion of ginger juice?

Hello HvG, thank you for your interest. Alnavit ginger juice contains 95% ginger, 4.7% natural mineral water and 0.3% lemon juice concentrate. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
