Good morning, I would like to know what is the lot number, I need it for traceability. On my tube I see written "MVG1 LM192 12:04 MHD 11/07/2026". Should I write down this whole sequence or just a part of it? Thank you
Hi sabrinacorti, thank you for your kind message. We will gladly help you. In order to track the production process, we need the full number "MVG1 LM192 12:04" and the minimum shelf life date of 11/07/2026. Sincerely, Your M-Infoline Team

I can't find out whether sugar has been added to practically any Migros product and in what form. In the case of Alnatura tomato paste, for example, I read under "Ingredients": "Tomatoes * * from organic farming. (what does * * mean?) The tube is only shown on one side. So I can't see the more detailed information on the other side. On the tube in the store it says carbohydrates 19g of which sugar 13g. Can I assume that the 13g of sugar comes from the tomatoes or has sugar been added? I have this question about added sugar for many products. How and where does Migros clearly communicate whether and in what form sugar has been added to products?
Hello Pleti, the Alnatura tomato puree does not contain any added sugar, the declared content of "of which sugar" (13g) is the natural sugars in the tomatoes. Important: "of which sugar" in the nutritional information does not only include added granulated sugar, but all types of sugar contained in a product - including those that occur naturally in fruit (fructose and glucose) or milk (lactose), for example. Whether sugar (or another sweetening food) has been added can be seen from the list of ingredients. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much, but how exactly can you tell from the list of ingredients whether sugar (or another sweetening food) has been added? What does the list of ingredients say in such a case? Does it simply say: sugar 12g and not ....? And why is this additional list not visible on the tube with the Alnatura tomato paste and on other products? And what does * and what does * * mean? Tomatoes* *from organic farming. Ohoooooo! Tomatoes* ----> *from organic farming. :-)
Hello Pleti, as I said, whether sugar is added can be seen from the list of ingredients and not from the nutritional information. In the case of Alnatura tomato puree, the list of ingredients says "tomatoes", which means that it contains no other ingredients apart from tomatoes. If sugar were added, the list of ingredients would look like this: Ingredients: Tomatoes, sugar. All types of sugar contained in a product are summarized under "of which sugar" in the nutritional information, both the naturally contained types of sugar and the added granulated sugar. This is not a Migros idea but a food law requirement. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much! Kind regards

Is this tomato paste gluten-free?
Tomatoes are naturally gluten-free, as they only contain 100% tomatoes, without additives.
Hello Burton1975, the Alnatura tomato paste in the tube does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, oats, etc.). In addition, ingredients containing gluten must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour).
Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why does the tomato paste in the Migros app have fewer kcal per 100g and other nutritional values than on the tube sold in the store?
The app states:All information on the products (list of ingredients, nutritional information/food facts, allergy information, etc.) and prices are non-binding. [...]. The price/product details on the packaging or the product label on the shelf and/or at the point of sale apply...
Hello Michi2000, thank you for your message. There is indeed an error with the information in the app. We will correct this as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your tip! Best regards, your M-Infoline team
