Why is Alnatura Nature Tofu not available to order online at Migros?
Dear Migros Why has the unrefrigerated Alnatura natural and smoked tofu disappeared from Migros Grenchen? The label on the shelf has been removed. This is practical as a stock, as it has a long shelf life. The chilled one is no substitute, as I don't want to "waste" space in the fridge with it and it doesn't keep as long. Regards

Bad news...... was the best tofu
I also think that's a shame, as it was the only unrefrigerated tofu far and wide and was therefore perfect for stocking up on. It was also very tasty. Unfortunately, the chilled one is no substitute...
Another bad decision by Migros. The tofu was great, you could store it well in the cellar. And the taste was very good. I don't like the normal tofu. Absolutely no substitute!

It is not possible to say this in general, as it always depends on how long the tofu is stored at the point of sale. The best-before date can therefore vary from pack to pack. Hello Simone2013, the Alnatura tofu in the chilled section and the long-life Alnatura tofu differ in particular with regard to the heating process for preservation. The shelf life of the non-refrigerated tofu is achieved through a special ratio of pressure and temperature. It is individually packaged and sterilized with pressure and high temperatures (>100°C).
