Dear Migros, why does the consistency of this product vary so much? Sometimes the veggie salami floats in sauce, making a mess when you open it, other batches are so dry as dust that they become crumbly and are barely edible. I like this product and have bought it countless times, but this is a shortcoming and I would like to see better quality assurance and testing from you. Perhaps there is also an explanation as to why this is the case / due to the production process or raw materials? Merci
Hello ebaeppler, can you please provide us with the best-before date and lot number for further clarification? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline team, as written, these fluctuations are common to all batches. To name one that is quite dry: MHD 19.03.2023 LOT 139 22 1. I have bought this product dozens of times over the last few years, in Migros Neumarkt Altstetten and Migros Regensdorf. The consistency of the product is sometimes very different.
Hello ebaeppler, thank you for your information. Due to the use of plant-based organic raw materials that are as natural as possible, the product is subject to a certain natural variation (due to climate, soil conditions or origin). Depending on the harvest or batch, there may therefore be slight differences in the organic ingredients used, which cannot be completely avoided.
As we do not use additives and therefore no emulsifiers or preservatives in our recipes, the mass produced may not emulsify completely, which may result in a slight release of oil on the surface of the sausage afterwards.
We checked our retained samples on the basis of your information. We did not find any deviations. Nevertheless, we are keeping an eye on the issue. We can assure you that every product is subject to a random sensory check by our quality assurance department before it leaves our warehouse. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

How is it eaten? Raw, cooked, grilled?
Hi Josemjkno, Vegetarian salami can be eaten raw like normal salami, but also grilled. It can also be cooked without any problem. It's a vegetarian alternative to traditional salami that can be used in the same way. We hope you enjoy your meal! Best regards Your M-Infoline team
