In every jar that I open after purchase, the corn above the water line is gray (oxidized). Is there a fault in the production process? Is this harmful? I never eat the gray kernels, which is a shame.
Hello Pablita, based on the description, we assume that the discolored corn kernels on the surface are due to oxidation of the product in the upper part of the jar. Unfortunately, it cannot be completely ruled out that there is a small amount of oxygen in a jar with a twist-off cap that reacts with the food. However, this is merely an optical phenomenon. NL for the Netherlands makes sense, but whether it is only bottled or the maize actually comes from Holland is not clear to me either.

Many questions would be superfluous here if you clicked on "Further information on "products.migros.ch" at the bottom of the product, where you can often find further information (NL-BIO-01) in the article details, i.e. from Holland (Netherlands), or is it only bottled there? and the maize comes from somewhere else? Also unclear to me.
