At what temperature was it heated?

Hello BouillonBock, thank you for your inquiry. We are happy to inform you that all Alnatura honeys are cold extracted. However, the honey must be heated a little so that it can be extracted from the barrels. The barrels are warmed up in a heating chamber at 40 °C for this purpose. This is also the temperature that prevails in a beehive. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Has this honey been psteurized - i.e. are the valuable enzymes still active or not?

Hello Alecturer, thank you for your inquiry. Alnatura "Feine Blüte" honey is not pasteurized. All Alnatura honeys, including the Alnatura "Feine Blüte" honey, are cold extracted. Honey is heated so that it is easier to bottle and can be liquefied again after candying. To avoid damaging heat-sensitive ingredients such as enzymes, a temperature of 40 °C is not exceeded. This is also the prevailing temperature in the beehive. We hope this information is helpful for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where does this honey come from?

Hello fonero Thank you for taking the time to write to us. The origin of the honey is indicated on the back of the product. The honey currently comes from Bulgaria and Romania. However, the origin of the honey is not always the same and may change depending on availability. We hope we have been of service to you and wish you a nice, sunny day.
