It would be good if oat milk were available in half-liter packs. Why is oat milk not available in half-liter packs?
I agree. 1l is often too much
Hello Markus91, thank you for your message. We try to adapt our range to the preferences and needs of our customers in the best possible way. Admittedly, the limited space available presents us with a challenge. We currently only offer a 0.5-liter rice drink. However, we intend to meet a major preference, which is why we will be adding an oat variant to our selection next year. However, it will not be the Alnatura one. Your request has of course been submitted to the relevant specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This oat drink has been our favorite for a long time. The cap has recently been changed, why? This new 'wannabe pressure cap'? is no good at all.
You have to contact Alnatura. The product is bottled by Alnatura...
Questions about products submitted via alnatura.ch are apparently answered by the Migros crew (and are also displayed under migipedia). If you contact Alnatura customer service, you are automatically directed to Migros customer service. This means that Drehdeckel's question is probably already in the right place.
The milk is most likely produced by Alnatura (DE), which Migros has no influence on... as Alnatura Germany does not belong to Migros but only Alnatura Switzerland...
Hello twist-off lids, the EU's Single-Use Plastics Directive stipulates that caps must be firmly attached to beverage containers from July 2024. This affects all beverage containers up to 3 liters that are single-use plastic products and whose lids are made of plastic, e.g. juices and milk. As a result, the lid can no longer be removed when opening, but remains attached to the carton even when pouring. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello M-Infoline Team Thank you very much for your informative answer, kind regards Drehdeckel

Dear Migros, this oat drink tastes good, but why is oat drink so much more expensive than milk? The Alnatura version is still the cheapest, while the Swiss version from Beleaf costs a good CHF 1 more. This is incomprehensible to me. It can't be that the production of oat milk is so much more expensive than milk when you consider the amount of feed the cow needs and the emissions it causes... it does give the impression that a trend is being exploited here to make a profit at the expense of animal welfare. I actually really like cow's milk, but I would like to minimize my consumption, as bull calves are also virtually 'disposed of' in organic milk production (shipped abroad cheaply). But if the Swiss alternative to milk is so expensive, it is ultimately also a question of cost. Almond drink does not make sense from an ecological point of view, even if it tastes good, rice drink does not come close to milk in terms of taste and the soy drinks from Migros are not good substitutes either. What a pity, oats from Switzerland would make the most ecological sense, wouldn't they?
Hello Sarohn, the price is due to various factors. Above all, higher development and production costs due to the smaller sales volume and the origin of the raw material. Beleaf uses oats from Switzerland, for example. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

- Where are the ingredients produced? PS Why expensive packaging (aluminum/foil/plastic/cardboard) that is difficult to recycle, why not in PEHD, like milk?
Hello Gebe-1-brauche-mehr, the Alnatura natural oat drink is produced in Germany.
The water and oats used for it also come from Germany. The sunflower oil comes from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic or Romania, depending on the availability of raw materials. The sea salt used comes from Belgium. Please note, however, that the origin of the ingredients may change depending on the availability of raw materials.
It is very important to us to offer high-quality and flawless products. This applies both to the food itself and to its packaging. We examine various factors very carefully when selecting packaging and its design. For example, optimum product and aroma protection as well as practical and functional aspects are just as important as the material itself. Our packaging team deals with the subject of packaging on a daily basis and closely follows new developments. Based on specialist information, we have formulated a packaging guideline for cooperation with our manufacturing partners. These guidelines describe how products can be packaged safely while at the same time taking into account ecological advantages such as using as little material as possible, a good CO2 balance and good recyclability.
The packaging of the Alnatura oat drink is typical of the product. In this form, the product is best protected from light and air, so that the long shelf life of the drinks can be maintained. The composite carton of the Alnatura oat drink is comparatively environmentally friendly packaging. Three quarters of composite cartons are made from paper, a renewable raw material. The wood for the Alnatura composite cartons also comes from FSC-certified sustainable forestry (FSC = Forest Stewardship Council). They are thinly coated with plastic on the inside and outside so that they can be filled with liquids. For drinks that can also be kept at room temperature, a thin layer of aluminum is added between the inner plastic layer and the paper layer.
The subject of packaging is very important to us. We keep a close eye on current developments. New findings are incorporated into product development, and the packaging of existing products is modified accordingly as required. We were pleased to receive your feedback on the packaging of the Alnatura oat drink. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why do you no longer have the calcium version in your range?
Hello Plumeria12 Parts of a calcium-containing algae (Lithothamnium calcareum) are/were used in the cereal and soy drinks with calcium. According to the decision of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) handed down in April 2021, these may not be used in the production of organic food in the form of a non-organic ingredient - not even in small quantities. Best regardsFrederica
Hello Plumeria12, thank you for your question. According to the European Organic Regulation, calcium fortification is no longer permitted in organic products. For this reason, we no longer have the calcium variant in our range. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is the Alnatura oat drink with calcium still shown in advertising? Apparently, only the Alnatura unsweetened oat drink is still available. I attach great importance to "no added sugar, but as much calcium as possible". Thank you for your reply.
Hello hanern, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, we have used the wrong image here. We apologize for this. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Are these no longer available enriched with calcium? I can't find them on the shelf anymore.
Hello Maggii, thank you for your inquiry about the Alnatura oat drink calcium. The responsible persons inform us that according to the European organic regulation, calcium enrichment is no longer permitted in organic products. For this reason, we can no longer offer this product. As an alternative, we recommend the Oatly oat drink with calcium: https://produkte.migros.ch/oatly-haferdrink-kalzium Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
