Is this product also original spelt? I couldn't discover the exact type from Alnatura myself. Thank you
Good morning MariangelamelcherUrDinkel is a brand commonly used in Switzerland for spelt from specified cultivation. Spelt is an original form of wheat. So this wholemeal flour is made from the original type of spelt wheat. Best regardsFrederica
Hello Mariangelamelcher, thank you for your question. Exactly, as Frederica also writes, this product consists of wholemeal spelt flours. For the Alnatura spelt flours, we mainly use the spelt varieties from Ebners Rotkorn, Franckenkorn, Oberkulmer Rotkorn, Zollernspelz and Schwabenspelz. However, the composition is heavily dependent on availability and is therefore not declared in detail on the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello ivi_537, unfortunately we will be able to offer Alnatura wholemeal spelt flour again around September - we hope for your patience. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is this wholemeal spelt flour not available here in Spiez? it's a shame, because I have to go to the health food store every time, which is very expensive.
Hello miggae87, unfortunately Alnatura is currently unable to supply wholemeal spelt flour. The raw material is missing. However, we expect to be able to return the flour to the shelves soon. However, the wholemeal spelt flour is mainly available in the very large stores. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, why can it contain traces of soy, milk and celery?
Hello Ralf1967, Alnatura comments as follows: During the production process of a food, traces of other foods may be transferred unintentionally but are technically unavoidable. For example, if other allergen-containing foods are produced in the same rooms or on the same equipment. Unfortunately, despite all due care, this cannot be ruled out 100%. Our manufacturing partner for Alnatura wholemeal spelt flour produces many other products in addition to flours, including muesli and baked goods, for example. As soon as a transfer of traces of allergens is likely, we note this on the packaging with a corresponding note ("May contain traces of ..."). Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Are the Alnatura spelt flours original spelt (i.e. not crossed with wheat) or spelt varieties that have been crossed with modern wheat?
Hello Simone2013 The varieties used for Alnatura wholemeal spelt flour are Oberkulmer Rotkorn (main ingredient), Frankenkorn, Zollernspelz and Ebners Rotkorn. These varieties are pure spelt varieties. The only exception is the Frankenkorn variety, which has slight wheat crossings. Kind regards from your M-Infoline team
