Really great taste. Happy that Alnatura did a pure pistachio mus rather than adding in sweetners or oils to stretch it.
The pure taste explosion! There really are only pistachios in it and no oils or other ingredients like in other nut pastes. It is also wonderfully creamy and is so easy to spread on a wide variety of savory and sweet treats. Just a small amount is enough for a 100% nutty, slightly sweet pistachio flavor.
Simply pistachios, super fine!
I don't think I have ever seen a pistachio puree of such high quality. The intense green color speaks volumes, the taste is excellent and makes it clear that the pistachios have been roasted with great care, not too much so as not to mask the natural taste of pistachios. The texture is fine and creamy with small pieces in it.
In addition to these qualitative properties, the pistachio butter has excellent nutritional values - it contains more protein than the otherwise highly acclaimed almond butter.
I like to use it to bake cookies, replacing some or all of the butter.
