Why are barn eggs used? Allergy sufferers need to know the ingredients and are therefore sensitized to the origin/animal husbandry conditions.

Migros is switching all its products to free-range. (The only company to do so),... but it won't all happen overnight... above all, the producers certainly have to join in...

Hello Mrs. Selection, thank you for your question. Our own industry is committed to using only eggs from animal-friendly husbandry (whether free-range or barn) for production. In addition to the legal requirements, Migros has introduced the winter garden (covered, weather-protected fresh air area) as standard for barn rearing. From our point of view, too, it would certainly be desirable to process only free-range eggs. However, in view of the current shortage of eggs (in Switzerland and Europe), it is unfortunately not possible to switch. Unfortunately, it is already very costly to cover our demand for barn eggs. However, we will continue to work on the issue. The fact that barn eggs are currently still used in this product should be clearly stated under the ingredients. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

If there was no egg in it, I would have tried it. So banana bread works really well without egg when I bake it. Would it be possible to change the recipe so that vegans and egg allergy sufferers can also eat it?
