No answer is an answer in itself!
That’s all I have to say about that…
Hello CurryOrchidee, thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry that you don’t like the new recipe for aha! Cottage Cheese.
The sharp increase in demand for cottage cheese has led to capacity constraints in our in-house production. As a result, we are now sourcing aha! Cottage Cheese from an alternative supplier, which has changed the taste and texture: it is now creamier, more neutral, and has softer curds.
We understand that such changes are particularly difficult for long-time Migros customers like you, especially when favorite products are affected.
We continue to closely monitor feedback on this topic and thank you for your honesty.
If you need information about the products you mentioned in passing that you’ve noticed are missing, please let us know 😊. Ideally, please include details about the store and the product, such as the item name and brand. We’d be delighted if you continue to be a loyal Migros customer! Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

I’ve read through all the reviews (in my opinion, the new recipe has rightly “failed”) and I find it outrageous that such a poor product is being sold at all. (Although it’s been out of stock at my local store for a few days now)
The statement that there are no plans to return to the old formula is harsh and reflects Migros’ business tactics. I’ve been a Migros customer since I was a toddler…many of my long-time favorite products have disappeared and been discontinued with no alternatives. In the latter part of my life, I’ll probably have to look even harder for alternatives to Migros.
Did we understand correctly that you won’t be going back to the old product? Based on the feedback, I assume you’ll be taking the product off the market entirely, is that right? Or you won’t be able to label it as cottage cheese anymore.
Hello AP12, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, it is currently not foreseeable that we will be able to return to the old formula. This is due to production capacity constraints that do not allow for a change at this time.
Your opinion is still important to us, and I will pass on your feedback. It helps us make better decisions in the future and take our customers’ wishes into account. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

The new cottage cheese recipe ("New Quality") tastes the same as the one sold at Alnatura until the end of 2025, and the packaging has also been adapted to match. The taste has been met with widespread rejection, and I will probably no longer buy my 30 or so cottage cheeses a month here in future. Nevertheless, many people want the Migros product back. Do you plan to bring back the previous product? Where can your customers find the previous recipe, from a supplier or one of your competitors?
Hello alnaturanostalgiker, Thank you for your message. The market for cottage cheese has grown unexpectedly strongly over the past year. In order to ensure product availability and continue to offer a reliable range, we had to resort to a replacement supplier for aha! cottage cheese. We made this decision due to capacity constraints in our own production. This has resulted in a slight change to the recipe. The taste has become more neutral and milky, and the texture contains softer grains. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
