Organic products must be clearly separated from conventionally produced products at all times due to the organic regulation. Just labeling the display is not enough. Are the Pink Ladies imported all year round from Chile, New Zealand etc. or is there a season when they are grown regionally (CH)?
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. We are pleased to inform you that we also take the Pink Lady apples from Switzerland. The first Swiss apples come onto the market in mid-August. Apples from France, Spain and Italy a little earlier. In spring, there are only a few apple varieties left in our warehouses. Imports are therefore released by the federal government for a certain period of time. Depending on availability, we import apples from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Chile to expand our range.
