where is the battery compartment

Hello M-infoline team, thank you very much for the prompt response. I went to the Hertensteinstrasse branch in Lucerne yesterday and explained my problem. The nice lady at the information desk tried it, still red light..., then checked the batteries for correct seating - all good - and then she took one of the batteries halfway out and put it back in. And.... oh wonder of wonders, the light was suddenly as it should be, namely white, and the multifunction switch now does everything as indicated on the packet.
