No comparison yet, as this is the first time I've tried black garlic, but I have to agree with the other reviews. Small garlic, dry and almost rubbery, hard to peel. Taste good but bitter. According to the internet, all signs of too long processing and storage. Cannot recommend the product.
I don't find this product pleasant. Terribly dry, difficult to peel off the skins close to the garlic and sometimes impossible. I tasted some from a producer at the Bulle fair in Fribourg, the cloves are large and the taste melts in the mouth. Try another producer, Ail-noir.ch for example, so that I can buy them at Migros and enjoy them. Thank you for daring to change!
Was very soft and unusable
Complex flavor. Garlic with earthy umami notes, excellent in risottos, herb butter, sauces, soups, etc.
Cheaper than the competition and good quality. Very healthy.
