New recipe with green (Puy) lentils pellati, chestnuts and lots of turmeric, coriander, cumin and paprika discovered in the Fortoum and Maison cookbook
Practical and tasty
Most of the chestnuts were moldy and wormy.
Tender under the tooth, delicious etc ... but it seems to me that there are less than before and are significantly smaller in each bag ...!
Chestnuts are very good. For in between.
Healthy snack for in between meals.
Rather expensive
I didn't like the chestnuts at all. The natural sweetness is missing and they taste kind of funny.
Spoil extremely quickly. The chestnuts are sold unrefrigerated. If you don't notice the warning on the back of the packaging that the contents must be consumed within two days of opening, you run the risk of eating moldy, rotten chestnuts. It is sometimes difficult to tell the difference between sugaring and mold. In this case, however, the product smells bad.
A nice snack for in between meals. Of course, only the fresh chestnuts from Rennweg are better.
not enough chestnuts
