Avocado oil should taste nutty and slightly like avocado.
This oil smells and tastes pungent and cheesy. It's so unpleasant that I don't even use it for skin care, let alone for cooking.
I work in this industry and recognize the quality of oils.
A product of such poor quality should be subject to a recall.

Don't confuse, as some people here do, the preservation of nutrients with the release of toxins. That would be a big mistake, detrimental to optimal health benefits...

I don't know where all these positive reviews came from. This oil is RANCID, don't buy it. Same for one from coop. There's not a single good avocado oil brand in Swiss stores
