Hello Hintis, thank you for your inquiry. We made a change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in household waste. For some time now, we have been offering a silicone lid that can be used flexibly. I would also prefer the old lid again. The switch to aluminum lids is quite understandable for me from Migros' point of view, but it is generally known that the packaging causes "only" a fraction of the environmental impact compared to the product itself. With the old plastic lid, it was possible to close the sour cream (or crème fraîche) well again, but this is not possible with the new aluminum lid, so that we have already had to throw away half of the sour cream several times because of mould - which is far worse from an environmental point of view than the plastic lid...

Absolutely. Please return the old lids quickly. What's more, the plastic lids were made of the same material as the cup. I only had to separate the cardboard and plastic and now there's also aluminum! PET is recyclable!

Yes, we would also like to see the old lid back, which you can put in the plastic collection together with the cup.

I would also very much like to go back to the plastic lid (also applies to other similar products). With the aluminum lids you can't keep the food as long once it's opened and I have to throw it away more quickly. I have also tried using the rubber lids. However, they are very unwieldy and impractical to use. So please go back to the old ones... Thank you!
