Hello, I've been buying this milk for 10 years now, and in my opinion it's the best value for money.
But I don't like the new packaging you've just come out with. Already last year (2023) you started by changing the cap, and I hate it because I get it all over every time I open and close the carton when it's full. The old stopper held much better and above all there was no need to force it open and closed. In my opinion, this is complete nonsense. It gives the impression that the engineers who create the cartons are not daily consumers of this milk. I'd also add that the price of plant milks (including this one) is too high. When you consider that the raw material is mainly water, followed by a flour or a paste, it's overpriced. In general, Migros over-prices vegan foods - which cost much less to produce than many carnivorous/vegetarian products. You could make an effort to make prices fairer between vegan and speciesist (carnist/vegetarian) products. PS: I've tried several times to attach a photo to this message, but it doesn't work (although it's a jpg and weighs only 1.86MO).
Hello LaraMenepa, the new EU directive stipulates that caps must remain attached to beverage containers even when open. In Switzerland, there is no obligation to fit bottles with "tethered caps". The fact is, however, that many closures manufacturers produce for the European area, and thus convert beverage containers in a uniform way. Hence the need for adaptation. The primary aim is to prevent loose closures from ending up in the environment, and to recycle them at the same time as the bottles. We regret that this is not practical. Naturally, we'll be keeping a close eye on this subject.
We offer products in a variety of price categories. V-Love Drink, for example, is of organic quality. We offer a cheaper almond drink from the M-Budget brand. When setting prices, various factors come into play, such as the country of origin, the quantity produced, whether the ingredients are subsidized, and so on. We make sure that we can offer our products at market prices. Yours sincerely, the M-Infoline team

Why are the prices different in the stores? The product costs CHF 3.00 in the Löwenstrasse Zurich branch and CHF 2.80 in the Bruno Zurich branch.
Hi sand61, the product V-Love Organic Rice Almond Drink had an incorrect price tag, which was an error on our part. Please accept our apologies. Please contact us at kundenforum@gmz.migros.ch. Your M-Infoline team so that we can refund you the overpayment and explain the case in more detail.

Good morning Lisuveli Because it is not certified, because it is subject to a fee: https://www.zoeliakie.ch/de/glutenfrei-symbol.html Best regardsFrederica
Hi, why is this product not labeled as gluten-free, but V-Love Quinoa is? Both contain ingredients that are naturally gluten-free. This is very unsettling if you are dependent on gluten-free products for health reasons (coeliac disease).
We have forwarded your request to the nutrition team, which will be happy to take care of it and send you an answer as soon as possible. Do you have any questions about your request? Then please contact us directly: Specialist nutrition department your M-Infoline team
What are the contact details of the "Fachstelle Ernährung"?
Hello Lisuveli, the V-Love Rice Almond Drink contains no gluten-containing ingredients and no traces of gluten in the declarable range. Our V-Love milk substitute range is certified and advertised as "lactose-free" and "dairy-free" as standard, and gluten-free is added selectively. We had a lot of queries about the "quinoa" supplement following its launch and therefore had the quinoa products and the quinoa milk substitute drink certified as gluten-free. They now bear the crossed-out ear of corn. We understand that the lack of a gluten-free claim is unsettling for those affected. The prominent "gluten-free claim" and/or the gluten-free symbol provides easy orientation and makes shopping easier. We are happy to check with the manufacturer whether "gluten-free" certification is possible in their company. If this is the case, we would then affix the gluten-free symbol (crossed-out ear of corn) to the packaging. However, the whole process will take some time (certification takes approx. 4-6 months, plus packaging adjustments). Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much for your reply! That would be fantastic! As a coeliac sufferer, my heart warms at products that are declared gluten-free. Thank you very much

The V-love products in general are great and known to be healthy. I was surprised from the amount of sugar in this rice almond drink. Could you please reduce the sugar?
Hello 2-pieces-M-Budget-Pi, the product does not contain added sugar (sucrose). The content of "of which sugar" indicated in the nutritional information is the natural sugars from the rice and almond paste. Kind regards, dein M-Infoline Team

I received this product from Migros Online on 17.5. This with an expiration date of 23.5. Seems very short to me? Can you please tell me if this is normally the case or was this an isolated incident?

I would be interested to know whether contamination of gluten-containing grains is to be expected? Is the rice flour produced in a gluten-free environment? Yes, the ingredients are all gluten-free, but contamination can quickly occur in mills, so it would not be possible for people with coeliac disease to consume this with 14% content... Thanks for the answer :)
Hello erdbeerli, the product Organic V-Love Rice Almond Drink does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any traces be expected due to carry-over. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). In addition, gluten-containing ingredients must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour). Therefore: Pay attention to the list of ingredients! Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good morning Is the origin of the rice and almonds still Italy? It used to be on the packaging if I remember correctly, but no longer. The production of almonds in California is not acceptable. Thank you very much
Hello Blueeye59, thank you for your question. I am happy to let you know that the rice and almonds come from Italy. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where does this sugar come from? Does it come from the rice flour? Because nowhere on the list of ingredients can I find that additional sugar has been added.
As every food contains sugar, this comes from rice flour and almond puree
Ciao greatluca_R, The 4.1g of sugar (types) declared in the nutritional information are only sugars that come naturally from rice and almonds. No sugar is added. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
