The labels on the vegetable/fruit scales are often the subject of discussion. Couldn't they simply be omitted or replaced by a barcode or QR code on the scales, which I can then scan directly from the screen? That would certainly save a few tons of sticky labels and also save a lot of people's nerves. For all those who need the "sticker" to pay at the checkout, it could still be printed on request.
