Hello, sometimes they are called peppers, sometimes paprika. What is the difference? Thank you.

Hi Pepepaprika, thanks for the question. There is no difference. In Switzerland we usually talk about peppers - in Germany we tend to talk about paprika. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why have the peppers gone up in price so much? In November they were still 1.90. It's getting really borderline. Yes, many things have become more expensive, but it can't go on like this. Migros is and remains a cooperative that is actually concerned about the well-being of the people and not about profit.

Hello Gianninap, the weather conditions in Spain/Italy over the last few weeks have been anything but conducive to vegetable production. First there was drought, then cold. As a result, there has been a severe shortage of certain products such as chilli peppers on the markets and prices have risen sharply due to the high demand. The current higher temperatures and sunlight make us optimistic that the situation will improve in the coming weeks and that more volumes will be available. Accordingly, the price increases will calm down again. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I have a question about the pointed pepperoni, Peperoni Cornetto. This variety is available packaged in a cardboard tray wrapped in plastic. Could it be that this type of packaging is not ideal? I have now bought rotten peppers twice in a row. You can't see it from the outside. I imagine that the peppers "sweat" in this packaging and if they are a little damp, they rot in the packaging... I always take them out of the packaging immediately after buying them.

Hello nachtblau, thank you for your question. We are happy to inform you that this is not related to the packaging. Certain deviations sometimes only become apparent after some time and are not visually recognizable. Our aim is to prevent this, which is why we are constantly working on this and removing the affected items from the shelves. As a general rule, you may return products of unsatisfactory quality to the store. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
