I bought the spice for the first time yesterday. It has a shelf life until 2025. When I opened the lid, I saw some kind of spinning threads. Does this mean that the spice is no longer good? How can I tell if it is still good?
Update 13.11.2022 by me: DO NOT CONSUME! today I looked in the spice container again and discovered a maggot 🤢. Unbelievable!!!

Many natural products are susceptible to pest infestation. Infestation is possible during the growth phase of the plant, during transportation and in the stores or in the household.
