The size 42/43 is 275mm long which corresponds to a size 41. The sole is therefore 10-15mm too short. Incorrect packaging can be ruled out as the size 43 is written on the bottom of the sole.
According to various tables on the net, a 41 is approx. 262mm long, 42 is approx. 271mm, 43 is approx. 275mm, so the soles are a precision landing according to their dimensions.
The 41 fits perfectly in my size 42 running shoes. My feet are 41 and 41.5. The salesman, who seemed to know a lot, recommended this size.
