Dear Forum
I tried a pack of Cecei for the first time today (from Hungary)
Unfortunately, I found them very bland and didn't like them. They didn't taste like peppers at all.
But I read a lot of enthusiastic comments here.
Did I just get a bad pack, or is it my taste?
>> initially pale yellow in color. When ripe, the Cecei glows a bright orange
My Cecei were white, pale green at best. Should I have stored and matured them in a special way?
Should I give the Cecei another chance, or are they just not made for me?
I look forward to your answers :)
Hello Reiskorn, thank you for your message. We are sorry that the Cecei did not convince you in terms of taste and that you found them bland. It would be helpful if you could send us a photo of the product label so that we can look into the matter more closely. This would allow us to make further inquiries and ensure that the quality meets our standards. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, your M-Infoline team
cecei is also not a pepper but a paprika... (peppers are hardly known there) and we often fill them with minced meat in the Balkans.
A pale bell pepper is actually ok, but cecei is very delicate and should be distorted quickly. Or be stored in a cool place.
I and many people prefer to buy them as Kapija peppers.

Why is this product sold as an M-Budget product, but Kapija (which also comes from Hungary) at a horrendous price? 500 Kapija cost almost 4.50 and Cecei yesterday cost 1.40 for the same content...?
Hello EEnergy, thank you for your question. So that we can answer it in the best possible way, please let us know which Migros cooperative you buy your Kapija peppers from. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello EEnergy This week we are offering M-Budget Cecei peppers at a retail price of CHF 1.40. We are offering the Kapija peppers for CHF 3.90. The price of a product is basically determined by supply and demand. Furthermore, our margin on M-Budget products is extremely low, which is why the selling price is set so low. Specifically, the demand for Kapija peppers is relatively low, which means that we can only procure small quantities, but have relatively high procurement costs. We hope for your understanding and wish you a good time. Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
