Here in Zurich, unfortunately, you look in vain for the "real" Bernese gingerbread. The packaging of the Bernese gingerbread only contains the one with the Madel filling and I always have to stock up on the "real" one when I'm in the canton of Bern. It would be really great if this gingerbread could also be bought in Migros stores in the canton of Zurich. After all, there are a lot of homesick Bernese here in Zurich who surely love this gingerbread as much as I do.
Hello guest
The Berner Lebkuchen you are looking for are not available in Migros outlets in the Zurich region.
Berner Lebkuchen is a regional product that is sold in the branches that belong to the Migros Aare cooperative.
Our company is divided into ten different cooperatives. Each cooperative works autonomously and makes its own decisions. There are no uniform regulations. The pricing policy, product selection, all promotions and offers are subject to the regulations of the respective cooperative and are determined completely independently of each other.
We hope for your understanding and wish you a nice week!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

It's funny - I didn't find a classic gingerbread in exactly this packaging (Berner Lebkuchen), but a thinner hazelnut biscuit in the same shape. It doesn't have a bear on it either. But the thing tastes great! Like a cinnamon star without the icing. Moist, sweet, delicious. Whatever it is (or was) - it tastes better than traditional gingerbread!
Hello kimlou
Thank you for your praise, we are happy to pass it on. If you notice this again, please let us know the M-Data's and the LOT number so that the specialist department can check the batch concerned.

Oh my goodness, gingerbread already! I looked quite stupid on Friday! It's warm outside, the sun is shining and there's actually gingerbread. I like it, but to be honest I only buy it in November/December :-)
Hello sweetycris
We stock our Christmas biscuits at the same time every year.
From October onwards, the days get shorter, the temperatures get colder and the demand for Tirggel, gingerbread and Christmas biscuits increases.
