Idea/suggestion 01: I very much appreciate open sales. From an environmental point of view, it makes perfect sense. What bothers me, however, is that when I weigh carrots, for example, I have to print out an extra sticker with the barcode. I shop by scanner or app. You could scan the barcode from the screen and not have to print an extra sticker, which would be thrown away afterwards anyway. I think that would be a minimal technical effort with a big impact. Idea/suggestion 02: We always fill in the shopping list directly in the Migros app. While shopping, however, it is tedious to scan the products and then tick them off on the shopping list in the app. It would be great if the scanned products were automatically ticked off the list. I think this would also be technically feasible.

Hello BenRi, thank you very much for your valuable suggestions. We understand your approach to the labels on our vegetable and fruit scales and the wasted paper very well. This issue is also close to our hearts. We would be happy to clarify this with the responsible department. There are currently no plans to scan the fruit or vegetables directly at the scales in order to save on labels. This is because we scan the labels at the checkout during the random checks. If these are removed, the random sample can no longer be carried out. However, we are happy to take your advice on board and will look into possible implementation.
