Repeated supply bottlenecks and gaps in the product range - is this the new Migros?
Wiederholte Lieferengpässe und Sortimentslücken – ist das die neue Migros?
Dear Migipedia team,
Ladies and gentlemen
Since the so-called transformation of Migros, as a longstanding and loyal customer, I have observed with growing concern a significant increase in supply bottlenecks and gaps in the product range - especially in the Migros Lyss store.
Last Friday, the situation once again became very clear:
- Budget Chips Nature: already unavailable several times.
- Saffron: out of stock for around two weeks.
- Yogos fig yogurt: according to staff, the production machine is defective - no solution in sight for weeks.
- Sennenmutschli: completely unavailable for two weeks.
- Gstaadermutschli: also no longer available.
- 4-5 other shelves in the cheese department (around the Mutschlis) were also empty.
- And particularly annoying: Ribe risotto rice - simply taken out of the range, in my opinion for no good reason.
My serious question: Is this transformation possible?
If modernization means that the shelves become emptier and tried-and-tested products disappear, the question arises as to whether the focus is still on customer proximity and product range loyalty. For many of us, Migros is more than just a supermarket - but lately it's been hard to hold on to that.
I very much hope that this feedback will be taken seriously - and that the product range and delivery situation will soon stabilize again.
