Why are the promotions now called offers?
The promotions are still called that, see the labels in the store and on the products themselves. Online, the section is probably called Offers because, in addition to the promotions, it also lists other things such as X-fold Cumulus.

I assume that it is more linguistically adapted to High German and that Migros wants to adapt to the market here. As far as I can tell, the term "Aktionen" (promotions) is only used in Switzerland.
It's a shame if another little piece of Swissness is sacrificed to the masses here...

It's clear that nothing will change for me. But offers are German, actions are Swiss. We are in Switzerland. That's why I'm confused. Thanks for the answer anyway.
