Dear Noemi, hopefully the downsizing of the food sub-range will not affect Migros products in order to make room for branded products, such as sustainable Australian(!) fresh water. Unfortunately, Migros was not very lucky with the renovation of the MMM Winterthur-Neuwiesen either. I often have difficulties finding products there too. It would also be useful if hiking trails could be marked with, for example, "Checkout 5 min.", because the path from the vegetable section to the checkout is endless and not easy to find. Well, walking is healthy! I've been avoiding MMM Neuwiesen as much as possible since the renovation. What a pity.
This is occupational therapy for the employees and customers :-)!!!! I think this serves the purpose that those who find everything the same now have to go through the racks and maybe discover something new, sales promotion!

There's no denying that it's difficult for us to put together a coherent selection that doesn't disappoint anyone when it comes to optimizing our product range. The fact that we also include external brands is because we want to remain attractive. We always check exactly where it makes sense to supplement our range. Every introduction has to be approved by an internal committee, which also causes the odd discussion within the Migros Group. However, the addition of branded products should continue to be the exception in all areas, including food. After all, we want to maintain our price-performance advantage with our more than 250 own brands. We still produce around 75 percent of our goods ourselves. In view of your description, I can well understand that the changeover in the Neuwiesen store is causing displeasure, which is why I was happy to pass on your input regarding the route labelling to those responsible. But it fails to mention that the entire own-brand range is only available in very large stores. There is no room for it in small stores. K-Tipp took a close look at the product range in 100 stores in all regions of the country and counted the availability of comparable products. Some examples: 400 gram bag of Ovomaltine: It is available in 99 out of 100 Migros stores, while the 500 gram bag of own-brand Eimalzin is only available in 60 stores. Heinz ketchup: This classic is available almost everywhere, while M-Classic ketchup is only available in a quarter of stores. Thomy mayonnaise in a 170 gram tube: It is available in 86 stores, M-Classic mayonnaise in less than half. OB tampons mini: Migros stocks the branded tampons in 97 stores. The own brand Molfina is only available in 59 stores !!!!
