I admit I'm annoyed by the low price signs and the Migros strategy behind them, especially as I've noticed several times that the quality of fruit and vegetables has deteriorated considerably. But as a customer, I feel like I'm being completely taken for a ride if the low price isn't indicated correctly, what's the point? Conventional courgettes at a price of 4.80Fr per kg = 0.48Fr per 100g or organic courgettes at a price of 0.40Fr per 100g - which is cheaper? Yes, dear Migos, even if the price per kilo is almost certainly deliberately given for one product and the 100g price for the other to make comparison more difficult, consumers are not so easily fooled. If you can do the math, you have a clear advantage. Migros' reasoning will probably be, yes, but the organic courgettes can only be bought in 500g bundles, that's true, but the price is still cheaper!
