I would be interested to know what or who the low prices refer to. Surely there must be some kind of reference value? If, for example, I pay around 50 centimes for two bananas at Aldi and double that at Migros, then that's not a low price for me.
What's more, these yellow low-price signs look cheap and puffery.

We already offer 500 popular everyday products at discounter level - from M-Budget to organic quality. Over the course of the year, even more products will be offered at lower prices. The term "low price" does not refer to a current reduction, but means that the excellent price is at discount level. The low price products can now be found across the entire range, i.e. it can be an organic product, a branded article or M-Budget goods. This also means that if a discount provider permanently lowers the price, we adjust accordingly. As an example of a price comparison, I consider bananas to be extremely unsuitable given the variety of types and labels. M-Budget bananas, for example, cost CHF 1.30 per kilo; you certainly don't pay a franc for two.
I think the MBudget bananas are low price and not the WWF bananas...
And the price per kilo is the same (loose at aldi, packed at migros)... but since migros has 3 open bananas and Aldi or Lidl only 2...
I think if the MBudget bananas were still open, many would weigh incorrectly...
