Today I was stopped at the self-checkout. I had bought six items. The supervisor told me I hadn’t scanned the Alnatura tea, which cost CHF 2.20. I apologized and paid for everything, including the tea. At home, I checked the electronic receipt and realized that I had indeed scanned the tea, exactly in the order I had scanned my items. Now I had it listed twice on the receipt. I later went back to Migros with the empty packaging. Unfortunately, the employee was no longer there. After explaining my situation, I received the CHF 2.20 back. My concerns: 1. How was that possible? 2. Am I now registered in the system as untrustworthy? 3. I advise everyone to check their receipt immediately in such cases. 4. Shouldn’t the supervisor have done that?
