Hello antschie, thank you for your question. There are currently various price adjustments (downwards and upwards), which is a challenge for the sales staff. The prices have to be constantly checked and adjusted. We regret that two of the products you purchased were not labeled correctly. We apologize for this. However, this is not a "hidden" price increase. The products are always stored in our system with the current price. If a mistake is made and the shelf address is not adjusted correctly, such discrepancies can occur. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure in which store this incident happened. This is not only the case at Migros, but also at Coop. If you shop with the scanner, you notice this immediately and it is very annoying. The law clearly regulates this: the seller must sell the product at the marked price unless it is an obvious mistake (a product that is clearly worth 70 francs is marked at 7 francs). The excuse for the abolition of the price indication on the products was the amount of work involved in having to put the new price sticker on every product when the price was changed. (Although it had obviously still been produced/purchased at the old price, so this was already an irregularity! The next step will be to write "guess what it costs today".
Happened to my wife yesterday in Migros Baden. It says on the shelf that there is a 20% discount on the whole ZOE range when you buy 2 products but the cashier at the till didn't know anything about it?
