This is the advantage voucher that is automatically issued by the till after a purchase. Originally, it was always given at the end of a purchase together with the receipt. You've probably had the receipt digitized and that's why you get the voucher in the app. What exactly are you feeling cheated by?

A small consolation: those who don't want to be taken for a ride only get the printed receipt after paying and not before. Nevertheless, it's not uncommon to feel ripped off when you receive a discount voucher for exactly what you have just bought (and therefore won't need again in the next 1-2 weeks...).

I'm assuming that when you say that you don't get the receipt before shopping, you're assuming that the Migros app triggers it. In other words, the app is supposed to connect to the store system as soon as you enter the store and generate receipts. Well, that's not the case. It has absolutely nothing to do with the app. It is the Cumulus card that triggers the receipt after payment has been made. The receipt is intended for one of your next purchases. If you shop without a Cumulus card, you won't get a receipt. It could not be assigned to the customer.
This is intentional, a receipt after the purchase - as an incentive for the next purchase. Your purchase triggers this receipt - no receipt without a purchase. But they are often useless anyway.
